This is an abstract monochrome marbling — looks like poured ink or a digital marbling study. The picture is made of layered swirls and ribbons of black, white, and every gray between, with tightly coiled lines in some spots and broader, softer waves in others. Texture is implied rather than tactile; you get the sense of viscous fluid pushed and pulled across a flat surface.
Shapes relate through contrast and flow: darker pools anchor the composition while lighter streaks thread through them, creating pathways that lead the eye. There’s no single focal point — instead the eye follows loops and eddies, moving from denser, high-contrast areas to quieter, mid-tone fields.
