About This Work

An abstract black-and-white image with a strong sense of motion, like something seen through heat haze, water, or a distorted mirror. Dark fields of black press in from the edges while bright white areas push through in soft, fluid streaks, creating a tense balance between stillness and movement. The center feels like a shape trying to form and dissolve at the same time, with jagged contours and smoky, marbled textures that give it a dreamlike, almost liquid quality.

The composition feels inward and slightly uneasy, as if the image is caught mid-shift. There’s no clear subject, but that ambiguity is part of the pull: it invites the eye to search for faces, figures, or landscapes hidden in the swirls. It could suggest memory breaking apart, a signal distorted by static, or a reflection seen in a warped surface. Archival Giclee print on museum canvas. C.O.A and hand signed by the artist. #312 has just been exhibited with an Honorable Mention at the Contemporary Art Room Gallery June 2026. AP print and custom sizes available. Limited Edition of 5 only!
